Do you remember Michael Douglas character "Nicholas Van Orton" in "The Game" by David Fincher in 1997?
Van Orton was a multimillionaire with a perfect and luxurious life, to whom nothing was missing and he'd just turned 48.
So what do you offer a man who has everything for his birthday? His brother Conrad (Sean Penn) finally solves this dilemma by offering him to call the Consumer Recreation Services (CRS), a company which enabled "a port to experience a parade of emotions" that customers would wish for.
And although fictitious, CRS has (at least) two similarities with theXquisit:
- Both conceive true life changing experiences, tailored to each participant;
- And we never had an unsatisfied customer!
